Origin of Name: Japanese.

Birth Date: Born in June, Year of the Sheep
Likes: Warm days, Animals, Playing in the surf and Helping her Auntie Joyce.
Dislikes: Violence, Yelling and Pirates
Family: One parent, Captain Toji.
==Physical Characteristics==
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 135 lbs
Skin: Olive Complexion with pale freckles
Hair: Braided pigtails red with a pale highlight
Eyes: Gold
Clothing: White tabard with red trim, red bloomers and gold slippers.

Appearance: Unusually tall for her age. Waif like expression, lanky posture and completely flat-chested.
Behavior: Very soft spoken, she speaks quietly behind her collar. She is very self-conscious about her appearance and will occasionally cover more of her face to obscure her freckles.
=Abilities=
Since she is not of age, most of Natsume's abilities will remain locked away for a few years yet. The only noticeable oddity is that she can subconsciously summon squalls when distressed. It's a drain on her and she becomes exhausted over time. She is not frail as she appears due to her lineage. She can also take a good amount of damage up to the amount that could knock out a healthy bull.
Even though she is a pacifist for the most part, she had inexplicably had enough training with a sword to hold her own. Her style is based on slashes with a Dao and thrusts like a Jian. Her overly clumsy appearance falls away into graceful ferocity.
She has no power attacks, just her own strength. Most importantly, she isn't intent on defeating an opponent, as she is with striking hard and running away.

Natsume will get scared, angry and excited (and I know I flubbed this in Snow Brawl), but she doesn't get so worked up as to create an exclamation point at the end of a sentence.
Unless doing something with her hands, she is likely going to let the sleeves of her tabard hang limp, giving the impression of an oversized shirt, or undone straitjacket.
Intelligence, consider a child brought up in a home with irresponsible adults. She tends to think of adults as a little petty and is far to serious for a 12 year old.
This leaves most thinking she is snobbish or bratty, when really it's a trust issue.
Natsume's Story
More than a decade has past since the events that changed Toji's life forever. In that time, responsibility came in the form of a child. She was sweet from the start. None of the fierceness Toji would have hoped for in a progeny, but as she grew older, and restless, it became clear there was no love for her in going on the account. As parents and adolescents do, they came to blows. Toji drilled into her the allure of the sea, sails and adventure beyond the horizon. Natsume complained she wanted none of it, that pirates were villains and ending villainy is what she intended to do with her life. Toji coolly suggested she leave the Angelfish and join the Navy if she felt that way. That didn't sound like such a bad idea to Natsume and in the dead of night she made ready to leave. Toji appeared to bar her passage. Natsume's shoulders slumped in defeat. To her surprise, she found herself in Toji's embrace.
"Lass, ye en't much differn't than I. All these years, me lives by a reputation o' villainy I ne'er earn'd, jest to survive. An' old salt like me be set in me ways. But ye en't held to such. If ye wish to sail on a peaceful path, I shan't stop ye. But it be dangerous to go alone. Take this."
Natsume heads off, carrying Toji's cherished cutlass, and blessing with her. She boards the Navy Merchant Brig and it leaves with the tide.
Within a fortnight on the vessel, she is sleeping when she is haunted by a terrible dream. Without Toji there for comfort, her true nature summons up a storm and the ship is torn asunder. When she awakes, she is alone on an unknown shore.
And this is where a new chapter in her story begins...
